Religious philosophy is a collection of various schools and branches, competing with each other. Philosophical streams there are in Buddhism, Christianity, Islam and other religions. Religious philosophy gives its solution to ontological, epistemological, cosmological, social and other problems.
The purpose of the discipline is to promote the training of well-educated, creative and critically thinking professionals with the ability to analyze complex philosophical problems; to give Master’s Degree students deep knowledge of the theoretical foundations of classical religious and philosophical doctrines; to promote a holistic view of the main features and patterns of religious and philosophical process. The tasks of the discipline are: formation of the generalized system of ideas about religious philosophy as a phenomenon of spiritual culture; getting to know the main ideas and the structure of the most significant religious and philosophical doctrines; studying the classics of philosophical thought who used philosophy in the course of their study of religious and philosophical concepts; formation of skills to work with sources and specific literature.
