Position and aims 

The scientific journal “Religiovedenie” is a periodical that informs the academic community about the results of the latest research in the field of religious studies.

The Journal publishes articles on the history of religious studies and philosophy of religion, anthropology and sociology of religion, psychology and phenomenology of religion. We also welcome papers on modern religious situation in Russia. Our mission is to provide a wide range of opportunities for those scholars who discover new aspects in the study of religion.

The Journal is focused on the academic community and helps experts from different fields of science to exchange information providing a platform for open scientific discussions on various issues of the academic research of religion.

The Journal appears quarterly: 4 issues per year (March, June, September and December). Electronic version of the journal is available on the website in the Archive section where issues appear within 2 weeks after their publishing, as well as on the website of the Scientific Electronic Library  eLIBRARY.RU.

We uphold the standards and principles of publication ethics and malpractice statement developed by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) and Association of Science Editors and Publishers (ASEP). Details of the journal's publication ethics, the rights and responsibilities of the editor-in-chief, editorial board, reviewers, and authors can be found in the Editorial Ethics section.

In accordance with our policy, proposals submitted for the journal can be original research articles, various review articles (book reviews, scholarly reviews etc), case studies, methodologies and methods presented in Russian or English.

Publication in our Journal is free.

Authors are not paid any honorariums.

License Agreement governs the relations between the author and the Publishing Department of the Amur State University.
