Konstanze Runge - scientific assitant and teacher at the Faculty of Religious Studies, The Philipps University of Marburg; curator at the Museum of Religion of the Philipps University of Marburg (Germany). She curated exhibitions on Ethiopian Feasts (photo exhibition), Religious Diversity in Islam, and Soviet Anti-Religious Posters. She is presently working on a comparative study of the concept of religion underlying the displays at the Religionskundliche Sammlung and the State Museum of the History of Religion, Saint Petersburg. She edited Von Derwisch-Mütze bis Mekka-Cola: Vielfalt islamischer Glaubenspraxis and „Es gibt keinen Gott!“ Kirche und Religion in sowjetischen Plakaten (with Andrey Trofimov). Konstanze is also Research Assistant and Lecturer at the Department of the Study of Religions at the Philipps-Universität Marburg and enjoys integrating the objects of the collection into her academic teaching. |
