The article reveals the features of transport communications and motives for the mobility of the Old Believers of the Chasovennoe soglasie (branch) in the Yeniseisk region of Krasnoyarsk Krai. Chasovennye Old Believers is a group that constantly increases its presence in the Yeniseisk region (and more widely in the territory of the federal area), and they prefer settling away from large settlements (cities and urban-type settlements). The article describes the main vectors of migration, its types and characteristics. Factors of migration include natural-climatic, economic, and social aspects. Reasons for internal migration (usually along the “village-city” axis) are finding work, improving living conditions, increasing the standard of living and changing lifestyle. Authors emphasize the importance of transport and communications for the Old Believers in conditions of a foreign cultural and religious environment with weak anthropogenic development of the area. The features of transport used by them are described, with an emphasis on handicraft models. Both land and water transport, as well as cargo and passenger transport, are subject to various modifications. The degree of modification can vary significantly, depending on the type of transport and the purpose it serves. The article is based on field research conducted in the Yeniseisk region during the summer of 2022.
