The article discusses the reflection of everyday, ceremonial and religious traditions of the Evenks of Trekhrechye in the essays-memoirs of the ethnographer A.M. Kaigorodova. Possessing a unique research experience, Kaigorodov was able to recreate a complete picture of the traditional way of life of the Evenks who lived in Trekhrechye in the first half of the 20th century. The authors of the study highlight the main features of religious beliefs and ritual activities of the Evenks of Trekhrechye, as well as some specific features of their everyday life, which A.M. Kaigorodov wrote about in his publications – in particular, the article analyzes hunting traditions and customs associated with the cult of a bear (“grandfather”,), characteristic of the Evenks, a wedding and an accompanying shamanic ritual.
