Wang Yulang - Professor at Dalian University, Head of the Center for Studying the Northeast History of China, Dalian University, Deputy Head of the Commettee of Culture and History of the Dalian People's Political Consultative Conference (PRC), Honorary President of the Institute of Studying of the Far East of Heihe University. Deputy head of the Center for studying of history and culture of Northeast Asia of National Qinghua University (Beijing). Honourable Doctor of the Amur State University. Board member of the Committee on studying of history of East Asia of the University of Kyoto (Japan). The Invited Professor of the international University Subaru (Japan). Wang Yulang was a research fellow at Complex Institute of the Asian University (Japan) and at the Institute of Studying of the Asian-African language culture of Tokyo University of Foreign Studies. Wang Yulang is a leading expert in ancient and medieval history of Northeast China, genesis and development of archaic religions of China. The main directions of researches are ancient and medieval history of Northeast Asia, archeology of Northeast China, genesis and development of religions in Northeast China. Author more than 190 scientific publications, 16 monographs. Editor-in-chief of the "Materials on Studying of Northeast History" series (20 volumes).
